Dirt on Dirt race of the year!
Sad comment made while they were announcing them, the comment was there was a not a lot of passing for wins and exciting finishes for many races this year. Basically easy to pick races of the year, due to lack of quality jaw dropping finishes.

That trend is likely to continue as the cars keep punching bigger holes in the air and keep utilizing it more and more for downforce.

Its going to be like this unless they bring rule changes to the books. Either run the newer stock car noses, or punch a 24"x 6" hole in the nose of the cars...

I think the problem besides aero, shocks and sky rocketing engine cost is so many fans unlike the past has clinged on to national drivers and thats it, As long as Davenport, Owens, Bloomquist, Shephard, Pierce and now Madden wins or gets a top 3 , it was a good race to so many of the fans out there. Im not trying to take away anything from Davenport, but at the World after Bobby had issues, it was a free air, free drive to win. great for him and his fans, but for the people wanting a great race, it sucked.

Many factors should weigh in on whether to say certain race qualifies, not just a close finish.
