That's what some do, 16 IIRC didn't have that, nor 18 up.

Yeah I'm going to put an x in front of the radiator... Might a bit extra but I want to get the engine bolted in to see what I have room for. Got to put a verticle bar from the top door bar to the front roll cage bar. Not sure when Tader added those.

I don't think you need to cut anything that bar was just their to help strengthen the car if you get hit in the rf wheel. People started associating cars that didn't run well with it as (bad) cars meanwhile their are tons of cars winning with it aswell. So they stopped putting it in

It didn’t take my rocket emoji, fixed it.People say the wide cage XR1 cars are no good, as are the 17’s with the extra lf bar. Rocket stopped putting that bar in and many turn their nose up at 17’s with it and wide cage cars. Not my opinion, had great Experiences with both thru the years, run new cars every year. That’s why I call it folk lore.Clear as mud? Grins

I've heard opinions about the different XR1's too. Also heard a B/G can run all XR1 parts and be fast, too. I'm too dumb to know the difference.

Yes you can run all xr-1 front suspension on a B/g or a orange car. It doesent make them a xr but it does help with the new front end settings and increased travel but without the updated crossmember is not gonna be a game changer

What exactly does it help with? We have a 2014 bg and would be interested in updating!
