Default Might droop rule lead to more unified rules?

    https://insidedirtracing.com/turn-2-...unified-rules/

One national tour and one regional tour have rule books that are closely aligned. Might others join in?

It's a baby step in the right direction, but consistant enforcement across the board is a must. We got to this point because of a lack of enforcement, ignorance and favoritism. Hope this starts things moving in the right direction.

Droop rule is just another step towards going full retard. Simple enforcement of rules since 2000 would make these other rules completely useless and never thought of.

A new nose and bumper will not even go thru the opening on a STD width enclosed trailer, and we are talking droop rules. Child please. The wheel is farther out than that. What happened to 88 inch track width?

This seems so stupid but so easy to fix. And I hate any rule that you check post race. A little bump here and there and then you're disqualified. It seems so easy to fix these body rules. Why are no drivers jumping on board to reign this crap in. As long as everyone is on a level playing field what does it matter. It would also be easier to build bodies and decking. These things are a just a shade below big block modified bodies right now. I would like to see them return to post wedge UMP body rules. Get rid of the big elephant ears, stock appearing nose, decking flat across and not raked up from the driver back, and even reduce the spoiler an inch?

Boom. The cars look hideous too with the rf fender two foot higher than the tire, and the rf tire stuck out 2 ft wider than the rr...looks silly...

Lucas will probably end up adapting the same rules, because the two national tours like to keep their rules on a the same page. Both tours benefit if guys can run both tours with no changes.

That said, the droop rule is better than nothing, but it's not going to save anybody any money. Simply moving the decks back down to 36" would have been a much better start to reigning the bodies back in.

“Dynamic deck height rule” would have been a better name

Rick schwallie said on a podcast last night he isn’t planning on any changes

Cant see how making a new rule that only one other regional tour has "unites" anything, let alone rules. The rules were more unified BEFORE the droop rule.
