I'm all about that man. Even a flatlander from farm country understands si gogglin!!
Thanks for the memory. Wish Hud best of luck.
Go 18!!

Wedge car is back.
C'mon WisWildManFan, let's give Steve Francis a chance to tighten up the bodies in the Lucas Oil Series. It'll get better.

The rear deck angle on these are ridiculous

That photo was taken in front of the Mastersbilt shop BTW...

I was born, and spent my toddler years, on military bases, and my entire adulthood I’ve been 95% city boy — but ... both my parents and a lot of our family are from eastern Kentucky. I grew up hearing “sigogglin” on a regular basis, usually in my dad’s carpentry or mechanical references. But I hadn’t heard or seen it in probably 30 years until now lol. Thank you for bringing me back to those days. I love it.

They mention the word si gogglin' in this documentary about NC Mountain Talk at about the 6 minute mark. The video features Jim Tom pre-Moonshiners fame, and also Popcorn Sutton. I love this part of the country.

Speaking of phrases, they've gussied up the Mastersbilt shop quite a bit. We took US 31 up the Indiana country side on our way to the Eldora Million in 2001,and then cut across to Brownstown and walked around the track. Beautiful country!

I grew up in the hills in Letcher County on the Virginia border but I live in the flat lands around Lexington now. I haven't heard sigogglin in a long, long time.

I used to work over in Southern Indiana, the road from Brownstown to Austin/Crothersville (I think IN 250) was always a fun one in a ride with decent suspension and a manual. I miss working over that way; good times.

New state record largemouth just got caught down thataway, think it was from Harlan. Me and the wife rolled up 119 coming back from Asheville to WV a few years back. They’ve got a little more Highway done between Cumberland and Whitesburg; still twisty road from Oven Fork over the mountain though.

Great looking ride. That thing really pops. Good luck to Hudson this season.

Yes,it was Highway 250. It was a neat drive. I had to look it up again, but about the only thing I can remember specifically was the little store at Dudleytown, and mainly due to it being at a stop sign. Super friendly folks and beautiful farms up there.
