Default Tye Twarog - DoD article

Another article about an owner whining about needing money among other things. Would guess that they'll back off the Lucas tour by the Ohio swing in July or sooner if appearance money dries up. Wonder why the team needs someone to drive the hauler when both Moran's are more than able to do so or did I read that wrong?

With my above post: I will add- he apparently is very supporting/ loyal to Devin & Wylie. Glad to see he is still in racing & providing them an opportunity!

i wish the guys well, i know what it takes to be on that level, i know they will need 1 if not 2 more guys for help, and if everything is new they will still have to keep it up,
so if a man has done all of this (in my mind he is at 500-750 dollars invested) and he wants to race with moran, asking for some sponsorship funds is not a bad thing, I'm sure they are also already looking at next year too
at the end of the day, it takes 250 to 500 to run all year

man the negativity on here sometimes,
there is an owner that has a good driver, and wants to succeed and have the resources on a top level, whats wrong with that
and oh ya he has stepped up to foot all of the bill at the start

the one person that comes to mind is erb, much respect to him and heather, but i feel they do suffer because lack of help, and i do think his finishes show this, i think he would run better with some help,

Dennis & Heather do it all. Heather is volunteered help that loves racing & is very good at what she does. Dennis also has to drive the hauler after his other duties are done. I remember when he didn’t even have Heather- “ the one man band”. How can anyone not like that team?

I love he's all in , just think it won't work well to have all that great equipment , great driving talent and great family support with his brother.........and no one else to help pull that heavy load of the Lucas run.

    Hope I'm wrong

Being a car owner is a horrible business plan. $500,000 to $1,000,000 investment to race for $10,000/night with equipment that needs nearly constant maintenance

I mean, that team ran the entire WoO tour, running Lucas isn’t really that different. I’m pretty sure they already know the rigors of traveling.

Donnie was with them for both years of the WoO run. They ran the car out of his shop in Dresden and used their hauler.
