It’s hilarious to see people sympathizing with whitner. I don’t think that guy has made a clean pass ever and is probably responsible for a million dollars in junked racecars over his career. Well when he was interviewed he had no problems with Sheppard. They both were racing hard , real hard, the deal with JD he wasn't happy at all. In fact Sheppard made comment that some were playing ruff and he will step up his game to there level.

Whitener was way off the pace and in the racing groove. He should've been at the bottom of the track and out of the way. If he'd stayed down there he would've easily come home with a top ten finish. Davenport came around three and four at full speed and I'm sure wasn't expecting to see Whitener going that slow. JD didn't really have much of a choice as far as where to go. It looked like a racing deal to me. I think Whitener is just upset that his great run ended poorly, and he's venting at whoever he can vent at.
