Still together. Leading Lucas points and winning and top 3 on a bad night. Smart move by Cody Sommers getting rid of Mallory. Jimmy says thankyou

You guys rock. Would’ve been more fun if not for the cautions.

Also note: Jimmies brother Curt is now working full time on the team. He is a long- long time dirt racer himself.

    Davenport's Coronetts look off...

Dont think for one minute the engine is not critical at the Touring level. Power Curves etc are crucial, and can make or break a race car.

That is interesting, one of a few that has gone back to Chevy based stuff.

I will say Jimmys car looks a lot different than all the other Xr1's out there, they must have something figured out.

Would like to see him win the points race this year, and some Crown Jewels as well.

    Just say no...

With Cody there now bringing his skills to the team- it could be a Rocket/Bloomquist hybrid set up ??
I don’t care for Cody as a person- but make no mistake- he is very race Davy & an extremely hard worker. I think his skills are showing in the Owens camp and Jimmy has got his confidence/swagger back. I believe he will be hard to handle in the points this year??

Doesn't look like that points lead is going anywhere.

    Didn't need him last year.

Other than the World and I think a $15k race he really didn't run all that well last year. Just needed to win a Lucas race when he needed to here and there.

How do you win the lucas oil points title while not running that well?

Rumley was around last year, not every race, but this year it's been a rare sighting to see Kevin in the 49 pit.

Check the #39 pit. I think you'll find him there.

Jimmy has a giant fan base. Do you think it’s as big as Bloomquist’s? They both have this t shirt sales stuff down to a science.
