Default WoO - Lucas Points Leader

Could it be possible at all for a guy to win both series in same season?

It is possible but the odds against it would be extremely high.

Mathematically impossible, considering the tour dates conflicting each other.

I think folks need to learn the difference between impossible and highly unlikely.

If Sheppard runs the WOO tour and wins that Championship then that is one.

If the dates on the Lucas tour that are the same night as the WOO tour are rained out and Sheppard runs the races they have he could win that Championship.

So not impossible but highly unlikely.

Have you checked the mileage and haul times between the tracks which each series that run on the same night/weekend? Its highly unlikely that you did. No need in arguing over this subject. Thanks for your statistics.

If you say it over and over again, it eventually becomes reality.

The two series are good about not scheduling over each other’s biggest races, but a ton of their “regular” races are scheduled on top of each other. Doing it would take at least a dozen clutch rainouts and even more luck to even come close.

Did Bloomquist lead both in 2011? He won both at Volusia and he won the Winternationals challenge at East Bay by 5 points over Don Oneal. Would that give him the overall Lucas point lead also?

Can’t win both but BShep would if it was possible.
