Bloomquist decided to take the 5 position penalty and increased his droop.

Yeah, Bloomer sets a fast time. But, gets busted by the droop rule.

I guess some of the Lucas Oil drivers didn't want to run on a wet racetrack tonight. Oh well...

He might have been trying to take advantage of the rule book. If they had run six heats again tonight. That would have put him outside front row of a heat race.

Owens wins,Bronson from about 14th, Lanigan, Sheppard, Overton, Bloomquist from 12th. Erb, Jr. 9th, Madden from as high as 4th to straight backwards and finished like 23rd or so. That's all I can remember accurately. Nice to see Owens on top of the heap again.

Weiss was 7th just ahead of Junghans...at least that's what Race Monitor shows.

Like someone said they might be struggling with setups and the rule so maybe they are trying stuff. Only McDowell has the experience with it. Still had a 6th place finish.

With the rules that are in place, that's a smart move on Scott's part. I think you'll see more guys doing the same.
