    Default World 100 question

I went for 20 years straight and stopped about 6 years ago . I'm going back for the 50th . I bought tickets and noticed there are a boat load of seats sold already . Guessing a record crowd for sure but will the car count reflect any where near the old days ? I know 200 cars will never happen but could they top 150? Just something to kick around instead of hearing all this Corona Virus talk.

i'd say if a driver hasn't been there in the last few years don't expect to see them there. If someone has some downtown time it would be interesting to see how many different guys have shown up there for world and dream both in last 5 or so years.

I'd say record crowd no doubt. Got lucky and got one of the few remaining camp spots in their BFE overflow camp location 2 weekends ago. As of earlier this week all onsite camping that could be reserved online is SOLD OUT.

I've had a little bit of downtime today and was able to do some calculating on the drivers for the past 3 years of the Dream and World.

130 different drivers have attempted to qualify for the Dream
166 different drivers have attempted to qualify for the World
194 different drivers have attempted to qualify for the Dream or World dating back to 2017

64 different drivers have entered the World only
28 have entered the Dream only
102 have entered the Dream and the World

does it make a difference whether there is 200 or 100 cars other than 40 more minutes of time trials? Same number of cars will compete either way.

i would guess it to be humor! i would also guess about the same number of cars. around 80 or so for the dream and about 100 or so for the world just because it costs so much to race 3 days in a row.

From what I've seen and heard, I think that old Baloney Tony Stewart might just want to give all of the money to Bobby Pierce since he could possibly win every race if he and his sponsors can get behind the FACT that he is the very best dr9ver! It all hinges on the FACT that if Bobby gets enough big money between him that it will be proven that that he is the BEST ! ! !

I see the Indy 500 is now reset for August. Wonder what the chances of the Dream being run with the World are and how it would work

Could Weaver be the one to come back to the Big E after an extended absence? New ride, big Mullins power. What color car was he in when he got 2nd in the World?
