Selinsgrove just followed suit as well....Kind of hard to justify being open for racing when the whole country is closed down and at a standstill.

I think this might apply to the current situation.

The weather is going to be crap here this weekend. Might as well cancel now.

And if the fans don't show up tracks will be shutting down everywhere. Promotors need fans, no fans, no racing.

It was good to get out and practice at Hagerstown last Saturday. Good fields of 410 Sprint cars at Lincoln and Port Royal as well.

Hopefully we can get back to normal and get to racing in April.

They are also aggressively censoring negative comments on their page about the decision too. I recommended they have attendees sign a waiver with contact info to make life easier for the health dept. to contact people when someone invariably ends up with COVID after being there this weekend. Then the lawyers will probably sue the place out of existence for negligence. I honestly don't understand this decision.

Any track that disregards the advice to stay closed, should be burnt to the ground.

One good deed deserves another, right? Pretty ridiculous to suggest such a thing. For me, I might just be okay if they get rained out.

It's their track and they have that right just as anyone has the right to not attend. Frickin sensitive world we live in these days

The owner/promoter had better pray that nobody who shows up contracts corona-virus at some point later. He/she will be subject to a huge lawsuit.

Sue someone for your own actions? When you have defied all health advise? That should be thrown out immediately.
