As a fan, there's so much more to being at the races...like the smell of race fuel! Or being able to watch whoever you want, in whatever position they are in...not being forced to only watch the leaders or those they feel deserve the most attention, which is what any broadcast of any sport typically amounts to.

But as a racer, I'd participate just to get out and do something that you've waited all winter for, worked all those hours towards. I wish them luck. Who knows, maybe it'll catch on.
