TerryM - I'd say the same about the last administration but many on here would probably loose their heads. Shoot he conned his own people in the process.

Jon Voight attacks 'radical left,' hails Trump as 'the greatest president of this century'
    Erin Jensen
    USA TODAY

Jon Voight is slamming the "radical left" while voicing his support for President Donald Trump.

The "Ray Donovan" actor shared a video message "of peace and love" with his more than 165,000 Twitter followers Sunday.

"This is not peace, this is not love. This is hate among the radical left," Voight, 80, began in the video lasting a little longer than two minutes. "Love is what we should be voting for. And I must say that we, the Republican Party, have voted for renewal, for a place of safety, a community where all can have peace, but this is war among the left."

The president replied to Voight's video Tuesday morning in a tweet: "Thank you Jon, working hard!"

"They have hate. It’s like a venom," Voight continued. "No words of God, no words of love, but a radical emotion of hate. I’ve said this many times and I’m saying it again, from the deep truths of my heart and soul: President Trump is a man of truths, love and justice for the American people and also for the people of a sacred place, Israel. Not only does he love our country, the United States of America, but he has a love for the people of all nations."

Voight encouraged his followers to: "pray for peace. Let us pray for this country that President Trump will take on four more years of his strength, devotion, knowledge of truths. And all that doubt and have extreme hate and anger toward President Trump, may they be shown differently, that President Trump is the greatest president of this century."

"Let us take a stand for liberty and justice for all," he said in conclusion. "God bless.”

Actor Jon Voight poses at a Showtime party in 2016.
Earlier this month, Voight argued that Trump "is not a racist, but a man who loves his country and has every intention to make this land great again,” in another Twitter video.

Voight has been a staunch supporter of Trump dating back to at least 2016. He's released several videos on Twitter applauding the president, including a May tweet in which he called Trump "the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln."

    Thumbs up

Clayton (Post #23) - You can add actress Patricia Heaton to the list of those that support the president. She was a democrat turned republican opposite of McCain.

Terry M, explain to us exactly what he did not do as far as leading. Explain exactly and factually why he is a coward. Remember how things were going before this virus nightmare? Stocks, gas prices, jobs, wages and such. Just asking and not judging your comments. Just curious about your claims.

TerryM is a typical liberal. They call him a tyrant when he makes decisions, then when he leaves decisions up to the states he's a coward. Just like Biden...first he said he doesn't have the power to tell states when to open, so when Trump said he'll leave it up to the states Biden said "he's punting". In all fairness to Biden he is senile and never remembers anything he says.

    Late Model Mark.
In South Georgia, gas was $1.60 when Trump was sworn in. It’s never gotten close to that since. It was $3.00 within a year. Even with everything that’s going on now, it’s $1.95 here. When Trump took over, milk was $1.50/gallon. Within a year, it was over $3.00. Today is $3.75. I could give you many more examples of how the price of everyday items have gone up during Trump’s run, but you know what hasn’t increased? Our wages. My wife and I were living more comfortably before Trump. We don’t struggle by any means, but there’s been a noticeable difference. I’m a Republican, but I don’t bow down to politicians
and never will. They’re all crooks and none of them give a (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) about middle class America. Trump has a lot of people fooled, but that’s par for the course with all politicians.

It’s weird because gas dropped almost .60 a gallon out here since the pandemic. You still can drive 40 miles on the interstate and have it vary by almost .40 a gallon depending on the location. It was that way before Trump, it’ll be that way after Trump.

I don't know where some people get their facts, other than shear political bias and media driven hatred.
Clearly the price of gas was NOT 3.45 when Trump was elected. But it about or above that for four years under Obummer. Some people need to get their facts straight before shooting their mouth.

Gas prices are most influenced by state gas taxes. The president has nothing to do with that.

It’s not just a gas issue. The price of everything has shot up in the last three or four years. If you’re going to give the president credit for every positive thing that happens in this country, who gets the blame for all the negatives? As I’ve said many times, I hate all politicians. They’re all garbage. But the fact is, we were living a lot more comfortably before it became so much more expensive to buy everyday items. I can say that completely without any bias at all.

They're all about the same here. I can occasionally find it somewhere for $2.75 or so, but most places have hovered around $3.75 for the past couple years. Where in the world are you getting a gallon of milk for $1.09?? I haven't seen prices like that -- anywhere I lived -- for probably 30 years.

Leadership vacuum, punting it to the governors, blah blah blah. You want to know how to absolutely fail absolutely? try and do everything yourself which if the President were foolish enough to try to do he certainly would. Which in an election year would be the best possible outcome for the Democrats, even with a senile Joe Biden as the nominee. Everybody has worked for a micro manager before, not great. Even the Governors, dictatorial 1930s style oppression seems to be the order of the day but there's a smarter way to do it. Be a scalpel not a broadsword. You guys are the ones slowing this crap down. Not the politicians, not any of them. by the way.

Anyone want to take a stab when the next national touring race will be? I’d say you’ll start seeing some local stuff here and there in a few states soon.

Pennsboro32, I'm going to say late July to early August. Just my own speculation, but with the Indy 500 moved to mid-August... I think that was done intentionally.

The Gov. of Alabama will decide our fate about racing in May on April 28. I am hoping for the best.

Thank you Terry M for your viewpoint. I may or may not agree with your reasons that our president is to blame for what you stated but in my view you did it with class.

You can be a guest of mine with the works at Talladega Short Track anytime..if we get to race.

Saw gas for $1.27 today, sheez. When I first started driving it was .37 a gallon.
