1989 at Gordon Park Speedway outside of Augusta, GA. It’s been closed for several years and has switched hands quite a bit after they sold it. Great Aunt and Uncle owned the track at the time. Had several cousins and granddad that raced. I was still in diapers. Been going my entire life and raced for a few years before my kids were born. Now I take them and thinking about getting back going again.

Canaan Fair Speedway, Canaan, NH. Unfortunately the place is now a small road coarse. Was a small, flat dirt track, they also built an asphalt oval behind it. Now its sadly all gone. They ran a number of great races there, BB Mods, Late Models, Street Stocks, School Bus races, figure 8, demo derby, chain races, sprint cars, spectator races (dude with an AWD astro van always won) Was a really cool place to be a kid.
