    Default 90/10 shock

Not for a DLM for OWM. I remember old school 90/10 were mounted uphill to chassis now I’ve seen a few mounted virtually same angle as the pullbar which is right and why?

The “old school” mounting introduces too much angle in the 90/10 at a dynamic state. A lot of mods are running flatter pullbars now than they used to. It’s all about how the car act during the race, not in the pits. Also, a lot of the fast guys haven’t used a 90/10 in several years. Some use basically a 0/0 as a safety tether in the event of a pullbar failure.
Bill W. and Dr. Bob......who could have known.
