Great. I was reading that the Clay County sheriff and deputies with be on site to make sure people are following guidelines. That's good tax dollars at use instead of being out on patrol
^^^ Most likely extra duty for guys/gals (the Deputies) that wouldn't have been on shift at that time anyway. I doubt there's a department out there that would take personnel off the street to man an event that was planned ahead of time.
I’m sure Clay County, NC will be able to keep from breaking out into anarchy on a Thursday night with 1/2 the population still sheltered in place even if an on duty patrolman has to go keep people from huddling up in the stands.
I’m not sure what you have to do to get pulled over these days anyway. From my experience on Friday 88mph on I-75 wasn’t even enough to warrant lights getting flashed at me. I never hit the brakes either. Was beside him before I saw him.
How do they get there list for invites?
I think it great that they are trying. On the other hand. If you have your weekly racers sit and home. Cuz there not invited. It could be a problem when tracks resume to racing
I don't think tri County has supers on a regular basis and from the sounds of it the invites are comprised of alot of people who support rays races on a regular basis

Tri-County does run supers every other week when they race. Ray has invited some of the local drives as well. From the way it looks it's about half national to regional and half locals
