I would imagine Fryar and Farmer ran together a few times. Great driver. RIP.

A local promoter used to bring in nationally known guys to contend with the local hot shoes, mainly Larry Phillips. Donnie Allison, Ernie Derr, Ramo Stott, and others including Fryer would pull into town and walk away from the locals usually. The track went from dirt to asphalt during that time but ole LP was always at the top of the heap regardless of the surface but usually just a bit behind the outsiders. RIP Mr. Fryer, thanks for the memories.
    I hate time trials.
