Super Dirt Late Model racing returns to Park Jefferson for the first time since 2018 as the Tri State Late Model Series brings their dirt late models to the track. The series, based out of Sioux Falls, will see a collection of drivers from accross the upper midwest battle for a $2,000 to win top prize courtesy of an anonymous donor. All Dirt Late Model teams interested in racing are asked to contact Mike Gross at 605-310-9591 for questions on rules and procedures. All teams are asked to register with the series. This will also be the first IMCA track points event of the season at Park Jefferson. Divisions include the Stock Cars, Sport Modifieds and Hobby Stocks. Also on the card is the RACESaver Sprint Cars. Drivers need to register by 11pm on Friday night. There is no restriction on the number of competitors. Registration can be found at https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/2303/registrations. All people entering the grounds of Park Jefferson are asked to come with face coverings of some type and observe social distancing guidelines. With capacity of 4,000 there should be plenty of room to safely socially distance. The grandstands will be open Saturday night to 400 spectators with tickets available both online and at the track on race night. Go to www.parkjeff.com to buy advance tickets. Pits open at 4pm with the spectator gate opening at 5pm. Adult tickets are $18, Seniors 65+ are $15 and children 6-16 are $5 with under 6 free.
