Smoky Mountain Speedway returns to action Saturday, May 23

Maryville, Tennessee – Smoky Mountain Speedway will return to racing action this Saturday, May 23 with Memorial Day Mayhem at the Mountains. Three exciting divisions will be in action at the 4/10-mile oval

The American All-Star Crate Series makes their first visit of 2020 to Smoky Mountain Speedway with a $3,000 to win feature race. Some of the area’s top crate late model drivers are expected. In late year’s event, Jake Teague made a thrilling late race pass to take the win.

The Topless Outlaw Late Model Series will be making their first ever visit to Smoky Mountain Speedway with their won $3,000 to win race. The top steel head drivers from across the region will be on hand.

Also racing on May 23 will be the sportsman late model division for their second points race of the season for $1,200 to win.

Pit gates will open at 2:00. Grandstand and tier parking gates will open at 3:00. The drivers meeting is set for 6:00. Hot laps, time trials, and racing action will begin at 6:30.

Grandstand ticket prices are $20 for adults, kids 11 and under are free. Tier parking tickets are $25 for adults, kids 11 and under are free. Pit passes are $35 for adults, kids 11 and under are $15.

Smoky Mountain Speedway is located 12 miles south of Maryville, Tennessee. From Maryville, take Highway 411 south for 10 miles and turn left onto Brick Mill Road. Follow Brick Mill Road for approximately 2 miles, the racetrack is on the right. The first entrance is for grandstand parking. The second entrance is for tier parking and campground access. The pit entrance is the next right on Crye Road.
