I don't think he used those exact words but, he was sympathetic to older people when some weren't.

I missed it in mccarters post where he said he was paraphrasing cirf.....because he didn't.

He said that's what the man said.....and he didn't.

Just another swing and miss from Mcriblet.

CDC estimates 61,000 in the US for 2018-2019 flu deaths.

12k-61k annually per the CDC. What number does Covid-19 have to hit before you take it seriously? 100,000? 500,000? 1,000,000?

Hearing that you caught it ,were miserable for a week or so and then made a full recovery like the other 97% would be a great starting point number for me.

And btw....check those cdc numbers again on influenza deaths in the US and worldwide.

You were trying that million plus number a month or two ago........and when that didn't work out for you , the metrics changed as did your blame tump for millions dead narrative.

Did you forget? Nobody else did.

I don't know what you mean about the masks making anything worse, it's not like they can transmit the virus any quicker. I think it very well could be something that could run its course and affect pretty much everyone, but the quicker people wise up and just follow safer habits then the quicker it'll all be over. I notice a correlation between those who complain about the virus dragging on and those that do not follow any of the rules.
Thanks for the well-thought, rationale post. Those are few and far between on this forum.

A million still isn't outside the realm of possibility if places open up too soon. A million people wouldn't have to die if we did what they did in New Zealand and South Korea.

We have no clue how bad Covid is or is not. We can’t trust the numbers that we see posted. Those could easily be manipulated. Masks not needed, masks needed, covid on surfaces and now they say it’s not on surfaces. We won’t know until we read books about it 8 years from now.

On the plus side, death rates will be much lower in 3 to 4 years.

Japan has shown that the government doesn’t have to shut down everything as long as the population takes self responsibility seriously. Unfortunately, Americans can’t even handle being asked to wear a mask.

Sweden has attempted it, too, but Japan has been more successful. Sweden appears to have botched the protecting long term care centers part. Last I saw was Sweden was at 400 deaths/million and Japan is at 6 deaths/million.

Japan also has strict control over what the media reports......Not much confusion there on the message.

You can't even turn on your local news and get the same message depending on their political affiliations.

A great example was your bs argument about how all of Iowa was curbside liq. Only.

I'm aware that college clearly didn't exponentially improve your education.
