Not cut out of the same bolt of cloth as many press secretaries from previous administrations for sure (both R and D). I used to really like the late Tony Snow when he did the job.
Now all the things she is laying out really should be asked but the smarmy press hates when anyone tells them how to do their job. This is especially true of the sycophant leftist press. Flynn was set up, he was framed.
Think about this for a minute. If really, like the old Obama team would want you to believe, a 33 year veteran who reached the rank of a 3 star general was turned into a Russian asset wouldn't that be one of the biggest stories of modern day America? This would be right up there with Kim Philby and the Cambridge Five. This would be the stuff of a John LeCarre novel, or something from the late Tom Clancy. Wouldn't the press at all be interested in such spy craft? Oh he!! no. Why? Because they already know none of it was true. Because they know if they do dig into it, they're going to find out a lot of uncomfortable things they would rather not know, and rather not have to expose.
Now McEnany is getting some mainstream hate for her conduct. So be it. She is doing this job much differently than it has been done before. She is unconventional but these are unconventional times. The other side attempted a coup.
