No, Eckert just couldn't fire well. JD even said in that in the after heat interview.

Terrible calls. Both were the fault of Rick Eckert. We’ve seen a lot of this in 2020, and it seems it’s gotten worse here lately. Lucas needs to fix this issue.

A few random observations from tonight. 1. Awful call on Moran. 2. Gotta love how these drivers ( Shirley and Bronson ) get a little sideways in there heats, instead of sucking it up and moving on, both intentionally stop and a caution is thrown. Shouldn’t drivers pay for a little mistake, if you lose touch with the field, keep driving, your cars not broken , no tires are flat.... 3. Buck just drove on 3 wheels exactly like bloomer did a while back. We heard about bloomer doing it for years, he was a god because of it, everyone talked about it, I bet buck being a wheel man and transferring is barely mentioned.

Broke left front tie rod. As long as no caution your fine since all weight on rf. Flat tire same under green, but under yellow just a rough ride
