ADAIRSVILLE, GA – The Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Modified Sportsman Division begins its third Weekly Racing Series season this weekend with six races in three different states. All six races will be contested on Saturday night.

Week 1 Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Modified Sportsman Division Weekly Racing Series events will be ran at Camden Speedway in Camden, TN, ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL, Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, and Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, TN.

Drivers in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman Division will compete for both a weekly point fund and a National point fund over a 22 Week season that runs through November 1. A driver will count his best 11 weekly point races for their National point total. Luke Riddle of Hartselle, AL is the defending Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Modified Sportsman Division National Champion.
