Good Morning Fans, Drivers, & Staff,

We were so excited to watch so many Illinois tracks announce their opening plans last night. Finally something to work with, finally some light at the end of this dark tunnel, and finally all of their hard work paying off. We at Sycamore Speedway want to wish them the best of luck and hope for great success in their opening.
Now for Sycamore Speedway's update and plans for 2020. We are still working with Kane County officials on what it will take for Sycamore Speedway to open. As you all may remember, we are a county that is part of the Northern Region that includes Cook County. After many conversations last week and yesterday, it does appear that they are willing to let us open but it will be once we reach Phase 4 and even then we need to work out the exact details. Good news, Kane County is projected to move to Phase 4 on June 26th. Leaving us to hopefully open early July. I am working several options for what our season opener will look like and I am hoping sooner rather than later I can share the exact details.
Drivers if you have put off getting your car together, get moving because we will be racing and it will be here before we know it! Fans take your vacations this month so next month you are drinking your ice cold beverages and enjoying the action of the Midwest Finest Clay Oval!

Racing in 2020 may have a long list of new norms, we must accept this as the alternative is no racing at all. It does not mean this is how it will always be but for now it
may have restrictions. Whether you are coming to Sycamore Speedway or any other race track please be kind and respectful. This season without any long race nights has been one of the most exhausting, as we all have dealt with being beat down more times then we want to share. If you have a problem or concern take it directly to the track staff don't have keyboard courage and take to social media and ruin it for everyone. This is a time of understanding and compassion and help from all. Our end goal is to provide you with family fun entertainment and action packed racing, keep this in mind when you are visiting any race track or really any business. We want you all to feel safe while we work to get back to what feels like normal, but it will take everyone doing their part.

We Can't Wait to See You All at the Races!

Sincerely,
Tiffany Olson

P.S. For anyone that has already purchased tickets for our 2020 race season, if we are unable to get that race/event in during our 2020 race season it will be rescheduled for 2021 and those tickets will be good for that. Once we decide our official 2020 season, we will then let you know how punch cards will be handled.
