Officials with the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance have announced points will be unfrozen for the FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship on Friday, June 26.

With Toccoa Raceway set to begin their 2020 season then with a $2,000 to win FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance event, 75% of weekly tracks are now in operation. So far in 2020, only the two races from March 6 & 7 at Lancaster (SC) Motor Speedway have counted towards points. The FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship season will end on Labor Day, September 7.

For this year, FASTRAK has announced the FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship will pay $5,000 to win and pay through the top-30 positions. Drivers will use their best eight finishes throughout the remaining points season towards their point total.

“We have lost 12 of our typical 23-week season,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine. “We are glad to get the points started at our weekly-sanctioned tracks and appreciate everyone’s understanding with how this year has gone because of COVID 19.”
