Default What You Guys Think? Should This Kid be Expelled?

    https://www.upi.com/Sports_News/2020...5321593429602/

This student is a bit of an ass for what he tweeted but in this Trump charged environment the statement doesn't seem to reach the level of expulsion. Let's face it, if Trump died today there would be much worse said and there would be a huge celebration by a large portion of population.

In the whole scheme of things being said and published today this whole episode would seem to be less than outrage.

If they try to expel him I suspect some lawyer will wear KSU's ass out!

If we, as a society, do not begin to stand up to these intimidation tactics we're going to lose our way of life. That's apparent to everyone with half a brain. I don't know exactly where the line should be drawn or by whom but if it doesn't happen soon it's just a matter of time until people like myself and many here along with a whole nation have had enough and BAD things are going to take place when our families and property begin to be in jeopardy.

Bottom line, this KSU student tweet, as snarky as it is, should NOT be 'cause for the student to be expelled because a bunch of partially illiterate football players' feelings are bruised.

But here's the crux of the matter, the football players are a HUGE source of revenue for P5 universities. The players wield real financial power and they know it. It's all about the money! We all know the players have had their collective asses kissed and have done pretty much as they please since middle school even though the huge majority of them won't advance to the next level. They know the university will capitulate to their whims instead of doing what is right.

In this instance money is power and power is when a bunch of college football players in Manhattan, Kansas figure out how to make the power/money thing national news. It's another domino that will fall. Only so many domino's can fall before things get nasty.

The real sad part of this whole deal is the KSU student will have to leave Manhattan, Kansas because he'll be a target of hate and violent retribution. Either way this kid is done at KSU.

Been almost 24 years since Tupac last used the N word......this whole thing is kind of stupid.

Until BLM picks up the coin and looks at both sides nothing is ever going to change.

The KSU student post was in poor taste, like several in this thread.

He pushed the outrage button......and it still works.

Just for the record and for those who don't actually follow, or care about, modern pop culture the given birth name of the artist http://www.4m.net/images/smilies/rolleyes.png Tupac Shakur is, in reality, Lesane Crooks. No attempt at a joke, I just don't participate in the use of fake, made up names in place of official given birth names. Crooks' parents and close relatives were extremely violently racist black panther party members who were known murderers. His god father was convicted of the murder of a school teacher and his god mother and step father murdered 2 policemen and a security guard while in the process of a robbery of an armored Brinks truck.

Crooks himself has a list of convictions a city block long and he lived only to the age of 25.

I don't joke about a scum bag like Crooks (an apropos name if there ever was one).

And it was perfectly ok for him to call every one of his black friends , posse and colleagues the n word repeatedly every day in conversation ......not ok for Larson to do the same to his white friend......doesn't being equal mean what's good for one is good for all?

    And they wonder why?

The couple in St. Louis were trying to protect themselves and their property from the "peaceful protestors" and are now in danger of being prosecuted for standing their ground. Not only do people have to worry about being beaten or killed by the mob, they have to worry about going to jail for protecting themselves. Never thought I would see this happening America but if they win in November it's only going to get worse. Don't know if they have people monitoring sites like this but if they do, life could become really uncomfortable to conservative thinkers.

There will be no life for them if they roll into the wrong conservatives domain looking to cause trouble.

That card hasn't been played yet, but once it is and despite what the movement and media declare.....all lives will indeed matter again.

Except for the lives of people causing mayhem......there's will be snuffed out.
