Don't think anybody knows. It's going to depend on who is running well enough to make money, if guys are behind in points, they're going to jump off to run North/South, Silver Dollar, and USA Nats. If someone like Pierce, Babb, or Shirley are winning it's going to be hard to jump off tour and forfeit the 25k. Just my opinion, some will say otherwise.

There is a chance to win $65K at I-80, $72K at Florence, and $56K at Cedar Lake. I can't imagine Pierce, Babb, Feger and Heckenast giving up on that kind of money to run the entire Summer Nationals.....?

    Key word, chance.

If it were me and I have a hefty lead on summernats tour. I'm taking my guaranteed 25k, nothing guaranteed about those other races. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

Indeed. Pierce runs good at all 3 of those events as well. We will see.

No guarantee on the points either no matter how big the points lead is. Any parts failures and mishaps with lap cars or broke down hauler. And depends on who wants to wait til next year to get the points fund $ or if they need the $ right away. From what i am seeing Babb doesnt look like to be running it by his schedule.

You have to play percentages, what's more likely to happen? If you're down to the last two weeks with a big lead in points, it's going to be hard to just quit going summer nats racing.

Looks like Weisser is attempting the tour in both Mods and Late models as he's leading ump points in both divisions.

Same thing can be said for the SN Point Fund, only 1 person wins $25K. Last year 2nd paid $10K and 3rd was $7K.

I'm just talking about the leader. Because it's probably going to be Pierce, Shirley if he runs, or Moyer.

You never know who will win you can ASSUME all you want. There's a few drivers not saying if their running it that's slides under the radar that has great potential to win the points aswell. Shirley could be the favorite but he always lacks help and can't keep help. Pierce sure could but I don't see him missing the big $ plus can he keep the cars together. like few days ago posted broke motor in regular car went to back up an broke axle. that's 3 motors in a month time frame. not sure if heckenest if hes running it or not. I'd like to see him pull it off.

But with that 25k, how much wear and tear are you putting on your stuff?

You're also assuming, you don't know who's going to pull off tour or who isn't until the time comes. That's why it's fun to talk about.

Anyone know about Paul Stubber from Australia? I don't recall if he was around last summer, but I know he was the previous few years.

I was curious if the current health risks or possible travel restrictions played a factor into his coming or not?

He ran the tour last year (at least part of it).

Feger would be lucky to even qualify for the feature in 1 of those 3 listed races and good chance it would be at Cedar Lake. It's ridiculous how he keeps getting voted in on the Fans Fund.

Video recap from last night, Pierce isn't sure what they're going to do yet regarding the big races coming up. They're going to see where they are in points and decide from there.

I'm guessing they're probably going to be around the top 3
