If I remember correctly the Street Stocks at Golden Isles old layout were at something like 147 mph at the end of the straightaways.

Jim Curry had a quote about Cedar Lake after finishing 2nd in 1993, 2nd in 1994, and 3rd in 1995. To paraphrase, it was basically that a win at Cedar Lake is like a tantalizing woman that he could never quite get to settle down with him. Ha ha.
