Too many fans that won’t give it up. Move on. No racing there this year. I guess you boys like this song. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ

You are telling me that Tony Stewart is not gonna Jeopardize his Ohio alcohol license. Simple fix. Run a race and don't sale alcohol. Did that ever cross your mind? It is possible. It is done every week throughout the country.

We don't go to a racetrack 200 miles of here that sales alcohol. What a shock..........

So if they submitted plans for reduced seating at the King's Royal and we're turned down. You really think they are going to be able to run the truck race still at full capacity or even the World? And even at reduced capacity? Time to face the facts. Yes it's b.s but might as well face the reality. Events just aren't going to happen.

Let's see if the governor conveniently changes his tune just in time for football season.

Hard to say since they have already cancelled two preseason games. Gonna get interesting pretty soon because college starts before pro games count.

    Waldo and Rajflyboy

I am not a Nascar fan and neither do I drink alcohol. I have been to every truck race at Eldora -because it’s Eldora-period! And yes- it is generally pretty much full with spectators.
The alcohol sales is a big moneymaker for that place. Always has been & always will be- like it or not. Flyboy -you said Tony had become to politically correct? He is a business man and has to look out for the best interest of Eldora Speedway, the employees, the fans & the competitors. Ohio government is not allowing any large venue sports to take place. What is so hard to understand about that?
Do you two knuckleheads think Yony and his employees are happy the track is shut down?
You have to be much smarter than your post .

The sad part is you have to explain it to them because they are to incompetent to figure it out themselves.

Wouldnt it be ok to stage a protest, and a race breaks out?

Professional? You're probably right but there is a bit of wiggle room for doubt. Classy? Not a F-ing chance.

No racing so move the races somewhere else this year. I don’t see any fire out of anyone trying to keep the racing going at Eldora. That’s ok. We have plenty of other places where racing is happening.
