It is currently raining a bit at the track. But it is 74 degrees right now! You can hear thunder, but I'm not seeing any lightning.

For what it’s worth it poured in Bedford which is 20 minutes west of the track. May not mean a thing since this all seems to be scattered.

The weather is looking good. Unless they already got hit bad.

They got very lucky today. There was heavy rain within a couple miles of the track earlier this afternoon. Looks to be all clear now.

22 drivers signed in? has to be disappointing to the Brownstown fans, Maybe a 10k show should have kicked off the SN.

Marlar is a good clean veteran racer. Weak move by Carpenter and it was just a heat.............

I like both drivers and yes, Tyler ran Marlar off the track. Didn’t look like Mike had much damage at all, and you couldn’t have fit a dollar bill between Mike’s car and the frontstretch wall.

I might understand runnin a guy off the track in the feature, but a heat where every car makes the show??????? Not the smartest move IMO, especially against a driver he'll chase all night.

If Pierce, Bronson, Heckenast, Marler, Erb, Fegar, Shirley stay on the track all 40 laps we might have a good show....... Anyone have a dark horse for a podium spot? Weisser? Jameson with a beauty move up top to advance to spots with one move? He's made a couple PDC hasn't he? Gardner? Carpenter has a better than dark horse chance, no?

I wouldn’t be so sure of that last sentence.

Pennesboro, I was ecstatic to see Marlar there. I'm not rooting against Carpenter but he's not in Marler's league, is he? ........... Was reading IIRC carpenter is excited to run the whole series. I wish him well.

I don't think so. Was hoping it'd be different there this year, but doesn't seem to be.

3 of the top 4 starters are known to be somewhat wreckless on the track. Should be interesting...

No he’s not, but that’s not the point. Tonight he could be, looked to me he had the faster car. He nearly spun out in turn 2, gave up half a straight away and still ran down marlar.

Thank you, fellas/gals. I do know Weisser as Fairbury is my home track. Wasn't sure if he had a brother..... Yep, good clean racer and seems to make some noise in big races before falling back. ........ Too bad only 22 cars. Would have loved to have seen a pack of hungry drivers in a Last Chance race.
