    Thanks Shiny for all your updates. Always appreciate your comments and perspectives. So disappointing that a track gets one date a year for this Summer Nationals race and still starts 55 minutes late. Sad for the fans and teams.

    Thanks for the updates Shiny. It never seems to amaze me how promoters are so blind to the obvious. Weather is clearly a factor and yet they can't get the show started on time. Plus they then run the local part of the show instead of what most of the fans came to see. How do these tracks continue to stay open?

    Shiny and HH and all of the rest of the folks there be safe. That radar view looks scary.

    I am sure it is difficult to prep a track with all of the weather variables, however they can control the order of events. I love dirt track racing but will NEVER understand why a promoter does not attempt to build a fan base by running the late-model feature as quickly as possible then if weather permits complete the other classes. It was no surprise that a storm was coming.
