    Default Bullring SN

Just read that Bronson, Moyer Jr, Turbo and Moran were stopping at East Moline on their way to Farley Monday night. Should be a great race

Tight 1/4 mile clay. Generous banking. Sparks fly off the walls. Turns 1 and 2 go high, Turns 3 and 4 usually faster on bottom. The Bullring formally called Quad City Raceway. Always a Sunday evening track, One of the original UMP tracks. HOF Gary Webb won something like 13 straight track titles.

Light blue #9 might be Devin Moran and the other yellow hauler is probably Shirley

Notice the younger guys show up while the older guys pass it up. These bullrings are wall scraping, slide jobbing, up on the wheel racing at it’s finest. That’s why most of my favorites are the younger guys. That’s what gets me on the edge of my seat and keeps me coming back year or after year.

Great...now I have to watch the NASCAR parade. At least I'll save some gas.

Thank you, Maestro......... Indeed I remember QC Raceway but have never been there. Didn't realize they changed the name.

Sucks they cancelled the thing but good they did so early enough that most fans had a heads up not to make the journey to the track.
