Billy Moyer Jr
2 things to do on your next DOD interview when you have your best finish ever for Lucas Oil.
1. Don’t act like you have been there, show some excitement.
2.Please , Please, Please nobody cares how clean you race and who all races you clean. Almost every time you get the mic, you like to take the opportunity to brag about how clean you drive someone.
I am not saying be a Bobby Pierce, Michael Page, or Mark Whitener but somewhere in between.
-
Lol... really??
Is his hair did up like you like it or is there an issue with that to?
-
And what's wrong with being a bobby pierce? Lmao
-
Hey now be careful his diddy reads 4m.
-
I think that he was more letdown that he possibly let his first win slip away than excited to finish second.

I'm pretty sure you are right about that. He's had speed lately. He let one get away.

He did look like he needed a haircut. Lol
I just think it is comical to me, on almost all of his DOD interviews he discusses racing clean and being raced cleaned. i think the lack of him getting up on the wheel has cost him a few wins over his career.

i think alot of that comes from him perceiving his career as in his dad's shadow. IEvery racer has particular things that are important to them and i think racing people clean and being race clean is bmj's. I happen to think his interviews are very transparent you can see how tough the guy is on himself. Doesent matter how well he runs in his head is not as good as his dad and he needs to do better.

Nothing wrong with claiming to be a clean driver. I give him credit for that and look at him with more respect now.
If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!
-
Maybe being too clean has cost him a couple wins...?

You know if you @ Billy on Twitter, he'll answer you. He's a nice guy and I tend to agree with the others, he's really, really hard on himself.

It all depends on how you want to win them. It takes no talent, skill or bravery to intentionally cheap shot another car to make a pass. The guys that are good enough to pass without cheap shots are the guys that deserve, and get, the real respect and admiration. Possibly it means more to BMJ to have the respect that comes with clean driving than the dirty wins.

Well written assessment. Totally agree. Wouldn't surprise me if ole Dad instilled the clean driving thing into him from the start. I like the Kid. Tells it like He see's it.

Ima fan of little Billy. He may not draw attention on track like some of the other young guns but the future of the sport needs guys like him. I’d bet he knows as much or more about the sport and the cars as any of them other young bucks.
Never heard another driver talk smack about him so that tells me his driving style is appreciated by others on track. He seems like a good dude to me
