Unfortunately this was to be expected. Hope the young man gets another chance. He is a good young driver IMO
-
I don't question Hudson will land in a good ride, I question what becomes of Mastersbilt? They're not even competitive and haven't been relevant in a decade. I wonder if they're able to continue.
-
Question: How many “good” teams are presently looking for a driver?
-
Problem is, there aren’t any top level rides open that I can think of.
-
Hudson to bloomquist second carWins within his first 4 starts
-
MasterSbilt says they are keeping the team going. Not any top notch teams looking for a driver that I'm aware of, so may be difficult for Hudson to find something. I'd like to know the real story of what happened between Hudson and SSI. They are now running a limited schedule with RTJ, and hearing they may run a full schedule next season with RTJ ?!
-
I think there is a good chance he gets something put together before the end of the year. What that will be is anyone's guess, but it would help if he can line up a sponsor or two.
-
What state do the O’neils live in?
-
The O’Neal’s are from Indiana.
-
Thanks. They seem like pretty good folks. I hope they get Hudson competitive again real soon.

Just a guess, but I would imagine that since Ricky is a better driver and does not tear up near as much stuff, has something to do with it.
PS -- Hudson definitely has potential, but he needs to be more patient at times.

Wasn't this deal mainly with Beeman backing??? Does Beeman stick with anyone long??? I'm guessing it's not all master's money and the "main" money wanted change. I know nothing inside but over years outside observation. Maybe they need a guy like o-show got?
-
Or maybe the guy that turned EPJ’s Season around.
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.
-
Someone turned EPJ's season around ?
-
Hudson is going to struggle finding a top quality ride on a national tour. Those rides are not just out there for a drivers choosing, neither are the sponsors, and Hudson doesn't have much to show a potential client. Shame I thought the kid had a Brite future ahead of him.
-
Hudson should have never agreed to drive for Masters as this was set up for failure from the get go. By not performing well in this outdated technology only hurt his stock and it was wishful thinking that they would compete well on a circuit like Lucas. They don’t have the engineering expertise to keep pace with Rocket and Longhorn.
Jim11 you are spot on with the Beeman support. Anyone driving cars with his ownership or backing are in for a short stay.
Good Luck to Hudson! He does have the talent to succeed in this sport.

He must know something we don't...
2020 race count:
1/2 of an event

1 top 5 finish in 29 starts and only 5 top 10's.
Without question, his worst season to date.
