Thumbs up Moler Raceway Park closed till further notice due to state wide mandates.

From the The New MRP Facebook page
    Moler Raceway Park

    EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY...
MRP - Moler Raceway Park is officially closed until further notice due to the statewide mandates issued by the Governor (effective 7/23 6:00pm) which include requiring masks in a public setting, and self-quarantining for anyone who has traveled from a state with a 15% or higher positive test rate. We cannot expect race teams, crew members, and fans to wear a mask outdoors while in 80-90 degree heat and enjoy themselves at our facility. The travel mandate is also a huge hurdle with chassis and engine builders located outside of Ohio, as well as many race teams who race with us at various times. If, and when mandates are dropped and restrictions are lifted, we will consider our options to hold events at that time. Until then, there are no further events planned. We want to say a very big THANK YOU to each and every driver, team, crew member, staff member and fan who has supported our efforts this season! We hope everyone stays healthy and safe until we see each other again!

A republican shutting things down. That hurts.

The Governor of Ohio which happens to be a Republican did not shut anything down. It was a business decision by the track to shut down. Do not confuse whatever your agenda is with the facts.

Due to mandates issued by GOVERNOR! Sounds like they made the choice based on this. So yeah it does have something to do with Governor. But oh well. True conservatives should be trying to keep things open. (I don’t blame the track though)(not their fault)

Except that the governor specifically said that if you are outside, and you are distanced, you don't have to wear a mask. Also, the closest 15% state to Moler is South Carolina....

Sad more to come. This administration is too incompetent and corrupt to run a lemonade stand.

And the reason sc is so hot is because the visitors from up the road came in mass to their coastal tourism regions and brought it with them from another hot spot.

Didn't cowboys wear a mask for protection from the dust while riding a horse all day in he hot sun than only to sleep on the hard ground at night …. Lets compare that to sleeping in the ac in a 500k rig & sipping a beer between heats ….

The governor mandates haven't slowed down Attica which plans to race Friday and Atomic which there next race is August 1st. Both tracks ask you wear a mask through the gate, but thats easily avoidable if you carry food/drink or have a medical issue.

You are starting to sound like Gearhead & Waldo! The Governor DID NOT shut it down. The track owners chose to shut it down because of some of the Govonors mandates-there is a difference. Don’t let other idiots on this forum cause you to be one as well! Stick to racing & out of politics- we will be better off.

Sure you can, just don't tell anybody ! I've still got your Buckeye tickets on hold if you're interested. I figured you to be coming north to visit Huck but I hear he's shacked up with gearhead over in Pa.
