Rod Conley Readies for Don & Hans Gross Memorial After Sixth Place Moler Run

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Rod Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, was the lone Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) driver in racing action over the weekend, as he invaded Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday night, July 17. An unsanctioned program for the Super Late Models during the Veteran's Night show at The New MRP paid $2,000 to the winner. Rod placed fourth in his heat race and later had a strong run in the 25-lap main event. At the end of the unsanctioned feature, "Hot Rod" found himself in the sixth spot behind only race winner Bill Sheets, Conner Meade, Trevor Landrum, Zack Dohm, and Jim Couch. Complete results from Moler can be obtained by clicking on www.thenewmrp.com.

For the second straight weekend, “Hot Rod” will be the only CMI pilot in competition, as his #71r team has plans of trekking north to Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio on Saturday evening, July 25. The Ultimate MOV Super Late Model Series will preside over the annual running of the ‘Don & Hans Gross Memorial’ on Saturday and a $3,000 top prize will be up for grabs.
