I was 14 years old at the 1998 Pittsburgher 100 and the cars were pulling onto the track for the pre-race driver announcements. I stood at the turn one yuke tire with a camera and snapped photos of each car that went onto the track. Tim Hitt was the only driver that stopped his car as he was exiting the pits to allow me to take a good photo of him in the car. I remember it very well. My condolences to the Hitt family. He forever made an impact on my vision in dirt late model racing.
