    Real go karts or the easy ones where you flat foot it around the entire track ?

    No they are all governed to some extent. SOme guys figures out how to adjust the governor screw at one track with one quick turn before getting on the track, Of course they outran the others. They just won't let them go too fast out of fear of injury lawsuits.
