    Default classy move by cherokee mangers

    they named a section of the grandstand the Racing Richard memorial grandstand this weekend. a fitting tribute to someone who loved cherokee speedway.

    Racing Richard was legendary. He LOVED racing, and was a walking encylopedia. He will be missed.

    Well deserved,remember he wanted to go to Pennsboro,had no ride so , he just rode in Freddie Smiths rarcar! R.l.P. ....RR🏁

    Very fitting and great move by Cherokee Speedway.....He did what ever it took to get to the next race.

    Good man. Never failed to seek out our racing group to speak to us wherever we might be. I was always amazed at his racing knowledge too. What Cherokee management did was a great tribute to one of those #1 race fans.
