Sheppard and the Rocket house car had there chance but seems like Overton flexed his muscles lol. Congrats to Overton...

B shep was not going to pass Overton. Even if he didn’t have mechanical issues

As good as they are, Rocket1 is not going to win every race. Congrats Brandon. Come a long way since them Budweiser days.

I know they've won some races this year but winning both nights was a pretty big statement.

Overton has looked faster than Sheppard every time they've been on the track together, which is hard to believe considering.

It certainly was a rough weekend for rocket1 and I'd hard to say shepp is usually really good the last 10-20 laps so we never really got to see him show his hand. That being said. Overton was hands down the fastest and most consistent guy all weekend congrats to him and wells motorsports. I'm glad to see both overton and wells having success they have both put their time in and deserve everything their doing right now.

Was it rough because I believe it was the final event of being on the road for 40 days straight.

Set, Match, & Point to Overton

I'd like to see a 3 out of 5 match race at a track they both run good at. 2 laps each race

Ding..we have a winner. Need4speed. After that many days out on the road it wasn't a surprise to see the blue smoke. All in all I'd say it was a good run for team blue.

I don't know if it was an internal issue but I read somewhere back in early July they sent a broke motor back to North Carolina on Brad Sweets hauler so it could make its way to Durham's shop.

What did I tell you boys a few weeks ago? B Shepp would soon be needing some CrossFit Overton workouts.
