Default Senior Citizen Night tonight @ Cedar Lake

Extemely proud of the four legends of dirt late model racing tonight making it senior citizen night at Cedar Lake, oh sure, everyone will be clamoring for the Erb Pierce meltdowns but to me when our four racing legends can finish 2,3,4,5 tonight against these younger whippersnappers, it really pleases me. Take that you young bucks !

They ain't lost it yet, none of these four !

    Eckert (2) 54 years old
    Mars (3) 48 years old
    Bloomer (4) 56 years old
    Moyer (5) 62 years old

Good night for them. Cool to see Eckert up front.

Overton bringing that $50k back to Georgia. Best car in the country right now.

Really glad to see it. Eckert has been running well this year, ran well with Lucas Oil down south in May in had a great July. Moyer Sr has had some good runs this year as well.

Ya' got that sheet right, gorj; staying up till almost 1 AM can be crazy on an old man's body, but hell, it was worth it wasn't it ! I kept looking at the running order and thinking to myself during the race......Moyer's still leading up till lap 45, Mars is still running top five, and holy dam here comes Eckert into the top five, and about 20 laps later I notice Bloomer is making a charge. And it hit me with ten laps to go, hot dam, these four great old timers are running 2,3,4,5 and was just hoping it would stay that way 'cause no way could anyone touch Overton tonight, not even Mr. Rocket.

Just a great night to be a dirt late model fan !

He is 1 of the 3 for sure. We don't know what would have been with BShep, to be fair! Rocket 1 has the best of everything too. Off to Florence.

As someone who appreciates the history of the sport....loved it. Mars’ quote after the race about the veterans that finished around him not getting into “the comedy act” was pretty good but to be fair, he and Bloomquist have their share of run ins in the past. Most of those guys have at some point.
