    RIP slick.

Two things I always had to do at a race, one was cheer like hell for the 39. The other was remember to see where the 77 finished so I could tell my grandmother as he was her favorite.

I can still vividly see those LC Smith Chevrolet cars in my mind. Prayers up for his family.

Rest In Peace. Prayers to the family. One of the south’s best. I remember being on my young feet yelling for him many a night. So many good memories from those years. Will always be a fan of all the old greats back when “ creativity “and hard work won of of races. Still love it but something’s missing. Restin peace Slick.

RIP Slick Sells. Those used to be some awesome races at Rome, Dixie, etc. Leon Sells, Leon Archer, Bud Lunsford, Charles Hughes, Snooks Defoor, Stan Massey, and a few more stars of the 80's. Great memories!
