ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN will host the $7,500-to-win $400-to-start King of the Hill 60 this Friday night and Saturday night for the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series National Tour. One of the largest fields is expected for this new event for the 2020 season.

The payout for the two-day show is as follows: 1. $7500, 2. $3500, 3. $2500, 4. $1750, 5. $1500, 6. $1150, 7. $1050, 8. $900, 9. $800, 10. $750, 11. $600, 12. $550, 13. $500, 14. $450, 15-24. $400 (Total Purse: $27,750).

Thunderhill Owner/Promoter Jason Walker has added a Non-Qualifiers Race on Saturday night if there are 41 or more entries that pays $400-to-win, or the winner can choose a starting spot at the tail of the Big Show.

The Newsome Raceway Parts Dirt Late Model Series will compete in Boyd-Built Group Qualifying and KRC Heat Races on Friday night to fill in the front half of the starting field for the King of the Hill 60. On Saturday night, it will be KRC B-Main Races to fill the back half of the field for the Big Show.

Cruz Skinner of Oxford, AL leads the Newsome Raceway Parts Dirt Late Model Series National standings going into this weekend’s Round 8 of the 2020 season with 646 points after one win, five top five finishes and seven top ten finishes. Wil Herrington of Hawkinsville, GA is second in the National standings with 630 points after three wins, five top five finishes and three Boyd-Built Fabricators Fast Time Award.

Corey Dunn of Milledgeville, GA is third in the Newsome Raceway Parts DLMS standings with 602 points after one win, two top five finishes and six top ten finishes. Dunn also leads the Cruise With The Champions Rookie of the Year point standings.

Cody Overton of Grovetown, GA is fourth in the National standings with 592 points after one win, four top five finishes, and he is second in the Rookie of the Year point standings. T.J. Brittain of Centre, AL is fifth with 576 points after one top five finish, six top ten finishes and one Boyd-Built Fabricators Fast Time Award.

Jody Knowles of Tyrone, GA is sixth in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series National standings with 554 points after two top five finishes, and five top ten finishes. Troy Dixon of Dallas, GA is seventh in the National standings with 458 points. The top seven drivers in the National standings have competed in all of the first seven races.

On Friday night, the Pit Gate opens at 5 p.m., with Newsome Raceway Parts Dirt Late Model Series Pre-Race Registration and Technical inspection from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is slated for 7:30 p.m. with Hot Laps to follow. On Saturday, the Pit Gate opens at 3 p.m., with the Drivers Meeting set for 6:30 and Hot Laps to follow.

Also on Saturday night, the Chevrolet Performance “Fan Zone” will take place during intermission where the drivers will come to the Grandstand Fan Zone to greet the fans and give out autographs, hero cards and be available for photos.
