I assumed it had to do with people commenting about the reason behind him not racing as much. I was legitimately interested in his upcoming plans. I think I saw someone mentioned a Rocket coming up, but any other details??? Not sure.

BirkyFan said Brian will be in a Rocket with Vic Hill power at Knoxville. I know nothing. Just repeating info that has since vanished.

Brian and Jason are done. Theres something in the works from what I've gathered. Wont say much more than that. However, he's very happy with not racing, let's be clear on that.

Then quit, and get on with your life. He's not a threat, so go away. Enjoy your life and family.

He's not a racer. If he was he'd be out there racing. It's hard to be competitive just racing now and then. Seems like he needs to figure out what he wants in life. He's not getting any younger

He's said many times he has no intentions of racing full time. The fact that some people can not comprehend that reflects on them, not Brian. He's almost 50 years old, he has 'been there and done that' and I am certain he doesn't need the approval of 4m to call himself a racer, he's more of a racer than anyone on this site.

He needs your approval to race only on his terms? Get over yourself.

He doesn't need my approval for anything. I'm just tired of the people that track the guy as if he can pull into the pits and even have a remote chance of winning. He's made comments that he doesn't need racing. Then why do it ? Retire and go do what you want to do. If you want to race go get a crate deal and enjoy it.

    EXACTLY!!!
I wondered how many posts it would take before someone had to slander his wife. This is why this site needs a moderator BAD.

I'm sure if Birky wanted to race, he would. I believe he's said that their are more important things in his life besides racing.

I'm pretty sure he did just that he's only racing part time when it fits his schedule and it's on someone else dime. Why does the guy have to get a crate car if he doesent want to run professionally anymore. He is still more than capable of winning races he's been fast in most everything he been in since he retired.

I would have liked to have seen him stay with the Kays. I probably would not have gotten to see him ever race, but I think would have been more enjoyable for him in the long run.

I'm not in the loop about what Brian's personal plans are, (eastern Iowa's been a little busy with power outages and other storm damage) but his son Cruz competed in a nostalgia car race (his first race ever) and his dad Dave ran one a week or two later. My point is that the family is having fun, and that can happen without full-time racing.
