ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Week 11 could be the final week for five drivers in the Top Ten of the 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Sportsman point standings. There are seven races on the Late Model Sportsman schedule of events this Saturday night, highlighted by a $1,000-to-win race at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.

Drivers in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Sportsman Division will compete for both a weekly point fund and a National point fund over a 22 Week season that runs through November 1. A driver will count his best 11 weekly point races for their National point total.

Brett White of Kosciusko, MS sits on top of the Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman National standings with 499 points, holding an 11-point lead over Ryan King of Anniston, AL, and White also is on top of the Weekly Point Average (WPA) list at 49-90 out of a possible 50. King is second on the WPA list at 48.80.

The top four drivers in the Late Model Sportsman standings have one more week to earn full points before they hit the 11 Week mark of their respective seasons. Behind White and King in the standings are Levi Aldridge of Double Springs, AL, and Sherman Everett of Morris, AL. also with one more week to earn full points.

J.C. Wilson of Milton, FL is fifth in the Late Model Sportsman National standings with 436 points and he has two more weeks to earn full points. Wilson also has the third highest WPA among the Top 20 in the points chase at 48.44. Wilson is tied with Heather Lowe of Warrior, AL for the fifth spot in the standings, but Lowe only has one more week to earn full points.

Caleb Coan of Courtland, AL is seventh in the Newsome Raceway Parts Late Model Sportsman standings with 426 points. Coan has the fourth highest WPA at 47.33 and he also has two more weeks to earn full points.

To find the driver with the fifth highest WPA among the Top 20 drivers in the Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman National points chase, one would have to look down to the 17th-place driver Blake Ray of Russellville, AL. Ray has 373 points after eight weeks of racing and he has the fifth highest WPA at 46.63. Ray still has three more weeks to earn full points.
