Batesville night 2
-
Finish: Owens, Overton, Davenport, PATHETIC!
-
Yeah I’m not impressed with this track this year. Runners up after hot laps

2020 race count:
1/2 of an event

Definitely nowhere to go tonight.
Slicked off way too quickly.
-
It's amazing how the modifieds raced on it top to bottom immediately after the late models burned it up. Jeff taylor certainly didn't have any trouble passing cars. Hopefully Mooney can get some water on it tomorrow.
-
It's amazing how much less HP mods are than LM.

Running on 8" wide hockey pucks too.
-
Don't count on it being any better tonight.
-
Davenport said they tore up some tires last night in the 30 lapper. Going to be a pit stop race tonight.
-
Just walked the track, top side looks like gravel, all water runs to middle, bottom of track, Hoosier gonna make some money tonight.

How much less they can use. There are wide bores in mods.

Mods race each other much better because of less aero dependency.

Ole washed up #1 driver, starting to look a little sporty.......another new car/design!
-
MBR, these are IMCA mods, so they're all crate engines. I think there's only one not running a crate here this weekend. I do expect some pit stops tonight. It's always a tire game here because it's so abrasive. It does look like there's a lot more water on the track tonight though, so that's good. Last night the busses were kicking up dust while packing the track.

Tire strategy usually is a factor in 100 lappers at Batesville
-
OMG. The track actually looks like a dirt track to start the evenings activities vs. an asphalt track with some dirt thrown on it.
