    Default I-80 replacing Knoxville!

Awesome to see I-80 plan a three day Lucas swing in place of Knoxville's cancellation!

Thanks. I wish people would post a link to the news when originally posting.

How’s the camping at the track at I-80? Thinking about making first trip, is there anything fun attractions wise around the track? Example: cedar lake and tubing. Thanks for any information.

On the off chance that you do check out the zoo, be sure to check their site beforehand. I think they're still currently limiting number of guests. I don't know how many, but I believe you may need to make a sort of reservation. I don't believe it's at any additional cost, you just say that you'll be arriving at whatever time and that's it. I don't think there's a limit to how long you can stay or anything.

I wonder what kind of purse it will have. Hopefully a lot of sponsors that went to the Knoxville purse go in on the purse for I-80 but I don't know how it works. This should be a good opportunity for I-80 to get some drivers that raced in the Summer Nationals and elsewhere in a busy July. I see guys like Winger, Eckert, Heckenast, Mars, etc had Knoxville on their schedules and weren't at the Silver Dollar Nationals so it'd be great to see some new faces. I do wonder what this means for the IMCA Super Nationals at Boone though. Boone obviously gets far more people than Knoxville.

I think the animal safari looks pretty cool and a lot closer. Figure it’s the year to hit a new track since can’t get to Big E

I-80: If you want peace and quiet - stay at Pine Grove RM Park which is adjacent to the track. If you want a gong show - stay at the track campsite.

I would imagine SLMR will be the support class.

I have never been to I-80, and have a backstretch RV spot reserved for this race. I’m assuming your post means that it gets pretty rowdy back there? How bad does it get?
