You have to pick one to race. Since you're pushing your agenda, you won't pick John Blankenship because you are think that Scott James winning (2) unsanctioned regular shows at Lake Cumberland mean he belongs in the Generic World 100 And Matt Miller, which I've only seen once or twice this year race.
I'm going w/ John Blankenship because its the best equipment, with the best chance of winning, with a guy who has won before.
None of those mentioned have a legitimate shot at winning so if that’s the metric you’re using I’d just move along. If he still raced I’d take Blankenship, but he’s essentially retired so you can’t justify giving him a spot over someone out there doing it most weeks IMO.

I say why not Dan Schlieper? He's won it. Maybe Donnie Moran or Steve Francis?

You and your driver stay in IL. Let the grownups talk here. Aren't you guys racing Rusty Schlenk for 2000 somewhere that weekend?
You asked for it.

Feger just won 2 10k to win shows in the past couple weeks... Feger has never ran away from competition, even racing at Races he probably shouldn’t have... you are way off base here

I'm guessing Russ might be at the $5k Tri City show Friday

I believe someone else owns the equipment and Buckingham’a dad maintains it

I don't think he owns any of it.

Obviously you didn't see Schlieper last year when he ran at Lernerville

Dan’s best years were prior to his ATV accident.

Blankenships stuff is owned by Van Lester. It's not a new longhorn either. The car he had at Eldora last year, was a year or two old.
