ADAIRSVILLE, GA – The 2018 Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Street Stock National Champion Ricky Idom of Hattiesburg, MS took over the 2020 point lead after winning the Week 8 Make-Up Race on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS.

Idom was able to net on a 46 and gain four points on his best 11-week total which is now 545 points after Week 14 competition. Idom’s Tri-State Rock and Rails Special is powered by an economical Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Carl Kilgore IV was unable to net on a 47 in Week 14 action and is second in the Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Serie Street Stock standings with a best 11-week total of 544 points. Lee Ray of Columbus, MS finished third on Sunday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS to gain three points after netting on a 45. Ray is third in the standings with a best 11-week total of 533 points.

Tim Dillon of Franklinton, LA was the big gainer in the Street Stock National standings, earning 71 points in two races to climb up to the fourth spot with a best 11-week total of 522 points. Dillion reached the 11-week mark in his 2020 season with a second-place finish in the Week 8 Make-Up Race on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway. He then netted on a 25 with a fourth-place finish on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS.

Dannon LaCoste of Theriot, LA is tied with Landen Jackson of Norco, LA for the fifth spot in the National standings, as each driver has a best 11-week total of 520 points. LaCoste was able to net on a 41 with an eighth-place finish on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway and Jackson netted on a 41 with a second-place finish at Jackson Motor Speedway.

Clayton Kilgore of Greenville, MS is seventh in the Street Stock National standings with a best 11-week total of 507 points after netting on a 25 with a fifth-place finish on Saturday night at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS. Caiden Jackson of Norco, LA is eighth with a best 11-week total of 506 points after netting on a 41 with a second-place finish at Hattiesburg Speedway.

Gary Tucker of Fayetteville, TN is ninth with a best 11-week total of 505 points after netting on a 35 with a fourth-place finish on Sunday night at Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN. J.R. Brown rounds out the Top 10 in the Street Stock National standings with a best 11-week total of 476 points after netting on a 35 with a 23rd-place finish at Magnolia Motor Speedway.

In other Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Street Stock Week 14 action, Michael Sheasby of Hattiesburg, MS won the Week 14 Race on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in the Sheasby Paint and Body Special and Larry Faulk took the Friday night win at Tri County Speedway in Flomaton, AL.

John Cody took a 40-point win on Saturday night at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, AL and E.J. Carter was the winner on Saturday night at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL. Joseph Hughes drove to victory on Saturday night at Greenville Speedway and Hayden Moran was the winner on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway.

Isaiah Day took the victory on Saturday night at Tri County Speedway and Trevor Woodard of Mount Pleasant, TN drove the W.A.R. Shocks to the win on Sunday night at Duck River Raceway Park. Jason Hollis topped a 28-car field to take the win on Sunday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway.
