You need to find a new source for your information. Whomever told you that does not know what they are talking about. JD is 5th in the new poll.

With that being said, they did not word their twitter post appropriately. Maybe they meant to state that it moved him into the top 5.

I used to really like the poll. But quite frankly, there's a bias in favoritism. If it is suppose to be based on the weeks results, it never truly is.

I don't pay for bias and misinformation. Maybe the tweet is right and the poll is wrong. Never know with them. Kyle Larson, #1 a few weeks ago? That was laughable.

The headline was misleading. It says JD to the top, that implies he's #1. I can see the confusion.

Their tweet said the poll got shook up it didn't elude that davenport was #1 in any way and they never had larson as #1 he was just on the top 25. Its funny how hung up all you guys get on a weekly poll that is 100% voter based

They deleted the original tweet and re tweeted it with correct info.

My bad on the Larson part. That was an error I'll admit.

cgrace, with all due respect, that is not the case. How you performed this week is important. But it also considers your body of work and level of competiiton.

The poll is a power ranking which is a little bit like how NCAA Basketball teams are ranked.

It is voted on by secret ballot by 10 independent voters. Voters who have adequate knowledge of the industry and late model scene. So I am not sure how that would be biased but it is of their opinions.

Kyle Larson was never #1 in the DoD poll. He has been #1 in some sprint car polls, which he has earned.

I know he wasn't. Did you not read the part where I admitted making an error in post #10?

Great thing about DLM racing is that we have 10 or 15 drivers that could easily be the #1 driver. And more drivers/teams getting better everyday.
